Terms of Service

If you find a user that is violating the terms of service, please report it to us by Filing a Report.

1. Hosting Accounts & Validity

1.A) Parasyte Hosting has every right to remove accounts that the staff deem inappropriate, or accounts who have broken our Terms of Service.

1.B) We will remove any web hosting account that does not have an active index page in the minimum of 3 days.

1.C) We do not allow more than 1 free web hosting account per IP Address.

1.D) We will terminate any web hosting account that specifies a domain name which either points to another server, or the ownership of the domain name lies with another company/individual.

1.E) We will terminate and report any accounts that provide fraudulent information, which also includes false names, addresses, phone numbers, zip codes, etc.

1.F) Hosting accounts that are created for the sole purpose of testing scripts or for purposes other than a public web site are not permitted.

2. Content and Files

2.A) Content that is served in your hosting account at Parasyte Hosting must not be content that affects the performance of the services that we provide.

2.B) Content that is operated or served on your hosting account must not contain or promote: warez, pornography, hacking, cracking, phishing, or any other material illegal in the USA. If you are not sure if your content is illegal in the USA, seek legal counsel before Parasyte Hosting. We reserve the right to discontinue service due to any violation and without refund.

3. Abuse

3.A) Malicious email, which includes but is not limited to flooding networks or sending an insane amount of messages in order to gain numerous responses is not permitted.

3.B) Bulletin board scripts that are operated via CGI are not permitted to be executed unless with special permission.

3.C) Incorrect use of our hosting service reserves Parasyte Hosting the right to immediately terminate the account. For account reinstatement, a fee of $20.00 will be charged, and the account will be reinstated with no data restoration.

3.D) Running scripts that open vulnerabilities to Parasyte Hosting accounts or the server itself, which includes but is also not limited to the vandilizing other web sites is not permitted, and said accounts will be terminated without warning.

4. Backups

4.A) Backups are performed periodically, though we do not guarantee the integrity of said backups. Should file loss be due to an error in Parasyte Hosting's part, we will restore your backup free of charge. On the other hand, if it is on the customers end due to neglecting security guidelines, we will attempt to restore your back-up, though we will charge $1.00 for backup restoration. We do not make a guarantee that our backups are 100% accurate, and we recommend that you download backups to a computer that you are local to.

5. Policies

5.A) Should you be unsatisfied with our paid web hosting services, you will receive a full 100$ money-back, so long as the account is less than 30 days of age.

5.B) Parallel Dimensions/Parasyte Hosting and its services will NEVER ask for your password or personal information. If you receive a suspicious email asking for any information claiming to be from us, disregard and report it to us immediately by posting in the support forum.

5.C) Accounts registered at Parasyte Hosting must comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Policy). If you are under the age of 13, you must not use our services.

Changes to these terms are put into effect the moment an update is performed upon.
